Parameters

slaveAddr: Type: SystemInt32
Modbus address of slave device or unit identifier (Range: 1 - 255) A value of zero configures the behaviour for broadcasting.

Return Value

Type: Int32
BusProtocolErrors.FTALK_SUCCESS on success or BusProtocolErrors.FTALK_ILLEGAL_ARGUMENT_ERROR if argument out of range

Remarks

This renders the reference range to be 1 to 65536 (0x10000) and register #0 is an illegal register.
